Bernardo is a Venezuelan-born-and-raised designer, creative director, and educator based in Philadelphia. By day, he is the creative director for Drexel University Institutional Advancement, by night he produces creative projects—personal and freelance—under This Makes Me Happy. His international experience covers local nonprofits, small businesses, cultural institutions, national activist campaigns, and international entertainment groups, and his work has been recognized both in the USA and abroad.
Bernardo is currently pursuing a masters degree in Computer Sciences from Drexel University. Fun fact: this is Bernardo’s second incursion into computing, he studied Computer Sciences in undergrad before switching to graphic design.
