Temple Homecoming 2016
Client: Temple University Alumni Relations.
We’ve been working with Temple University to create the branding for their signature events. In collaboration with copywriter Catherine Price, we developed a campaign based on the theme of flying high—inspired by the Temple mascot, the owl. Imagery included dynamic panels, strong color floods highlighting Temple’s cherry and white, expressive typography, and active photography. By combining visuals and copy, we could integrate tag lines and body copy that expressed the theme.
The campaign included emails, mini sites, billboards, digital signage, postcards, social media graphics, and other applications. as well as content for each usage.
While we created the campaign and worked with Temple University Alumni Relations closely to execute it, different university partners created their own communications. To maintain consistency throughout the campaign, we created a toolkit highlighting all aspects of the event branding, along with instructions, and samples of finished art. This toolkit was made available for all campus partners to use.
The campaign translated into various formats and media, from a small 4″ x 6″ postcard to online ads, to large billboards.
